With such a wide variety of ethnicities, Cleveland has almost as wide a variety of choices for eating out. Ohio City has lots of ethnic food options, as well as West Side Market where you can nosh on a gyro or kielbasa sausage for virtually nothing. Downtown Cleveland and Shaker Square also have numerous choices for every kind of taste. Just remember that a service charge is expected whenever you eat at a restaurant and that it's usually somewhere between 15% and 20%. Located in University Circle and housed in a Victorian mansion that's now a B&B, the Baricelli Inn presents boneless racks of lamb, salmon, rosemary pesto, scallops and couscous just to name a few of its mouth watering dishes. Great Lakes Brewing Co. in downtown Ohio City offers delicious accompaniments to it's varied selection of micro-brewed beers. Get a basket of calamari, a sausage sampler, or the ribs. A specialty is the brew master's pie, a hot and spicy mixture of sausage, spinach, mozzarella and ricotta cheese baked in a flakey crust. Open air dining available in the courtyard. Lunches are around $8 and dinners around $25. No lunch on Sunday. ? Indigo Indian Bistro. At 503 Prospect Avenue, try this charmingly decorated establishment for a more exotic meal. The intoxicating aroma of curry and tandoori will hit you the minute you walk in. Comfortable booths, high ceilings and a friendly staff make for a wonderful dining experience.
